For those of you I haven’t met yet, allow me to introduce myself: I’m Money Path, a web-based planning tool for teens and young adults, and I’ve had a bit of a makeover. For those of you I’ve worked with before, my mission hasn’t changed; I still help students see how their academic, career, and financial choices connect, but now I’m easier to use, smarter, and a little snazzier.
A fresh new look
My home screen now has a clean, student-friendly design that’s simple to navigate. Students can jump right in without getting lost, and I can help them spark meaningful conversations.
Reports whenever you want them
Educators, I’ve got you. You can now access session reports and evaluations anytime, no more waiting for emails. They’re cleaner, more visual, and make it easy to see how students are progressing.
I’ve also polished up a few other things:
- Redesigned Path Summary PDF reports
- College search by city
- Educator tools link in the menu
- Better responsiveness on iPads and Chromebooks
- Smoother experience for both students and educators
Built for Wisconsin educators and students
I’m also proud to say I’m completely free for all Wisconsin high schools. Developed by SecureFutures, a trusted Wisconsin nonprofit, I was built with input from educators and counselors across the state. Every new feature and update comes directly from their feedback, making me a tool designed for you, by you.
Here’s what one educator had to say about me:
“Money Path does a fantastic job of showing students different career paths that are available to them—not just how much it costs, but also their return on investment for choosing that path. Being a Wisconsin-based nonprofit is a fantastic way for students to see that there are organizations inside the state that want to help them be successful in the future” – Brian Zimdars, Business Educator
Whether I’m used as an enhancement to personal finance curriculum, or as a tool for academic and career planning, these updates make it easier than ever to bring financial confidence and future planning to life for students. Check out my Money Path Learning Activities resource for ready-to-use ideas that get students exploring, planning, and learning.
